Our Index Priced Product provides supply at a rate per kWh (kilowatt hour) that is linked to a transparent, published market index. It gives you the ability to take advantage of market movement (as opposed to locking in a fixed rate). While this choice provides tremendous flexibility to capitalize on advantageous market conditions, it also includes a higher level of exposure to price spikes.
Is this product right for me?
- I think current high price levels (for a longer-term deal) will come down.
- I'm willing to ride the market for the short term in anticipation of a market dip, when I can lock in a more competitive rate.
- We have a substantial level of flexibility in our month-to-month budget.
- We have a higher risk tolerance for market flucatuations.
