Strategic Energy® Announces Sales Leadership in Illinois
--Illinois electric industry veteran Jim Belden to lead market entry
PITTSBURGH, Pa., September 21, 2006 – Strategic Energy®, a national provider of retail electricity services to commercial and industrial customers, today announced it has hired Jim Belden as Sales Director to help spearhead the company’s new market entry into Illinois.
In his new position, Mr. Belden will lead a dedicated sales team focused on providing customized energy purchasing strategies for small to medium businesses and commercial and industrial enterprises.Having served as director of sales and marketing for a major retail electricity supplier in Illinois, Mr. Belden’s adds a thorough understanding of the Illinois marketplace to Strategic Energy’s portfolio of innovative products.

Most recently, Mr. Belden was Director of sales for Energy Choices, Inc. where he assisted in the development of numerous energy-related initiatives, including energy programs with enterpriz Cook County and the Metropolitan Mayors Caucus. Mr. Belden received a Bachelor of Science Degree from Northern Arizona University and holds a Master of Business Administration in marketing and finance from Northwestern University’s J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management.
