Terms determined based on your needs, objectives and desire for stability. Service is available to businesses that use 20,000 kWh or more per year

Any business that has made an active selection of ComEd fixed price generation rates is locked in until June 2008, at which time rates will change. Businesses that have not made an active choice defaulted to ComEd’s fixed price bundled service and face no commitment and may switch at any time. The same is true for customers that elected ComEd's hourly priced service.

Businesses with a peak demand of less than 1 MW a year generally face no required minimum term. Businesses with a peak demand of 1 MW or morethat are on the fixed-price Basic Generation Service are locked in until June 2008.  Businesses on hourly service face no commitment and may switch at any time.

PREDICTABILITY

Lock in a fixed rate today and keep it for multiple years.  In addition, larger customers can utilize the PowerPortfolio product to proactively manage their energy strategy through a strategic mix of fixed and index-based prices.
