Stephane Kirkland is Vice President of Marketing and Strategy for Direct Energy Business. As such, he is responsible for the company’s offering, as well as new business development.

Stephane has been with Centrica since 2002. Most recently, he was Head of European Business Development, based in Paris, France. He was also a non-executive member of the board of SPE, Centrica’s Belgian JV. Prior to that, he held roles in corporate strategy and business development at Centrica headquarters in Windsor, UK. 

Before joining Centrica, Stephane was a strategy consultant at Marakon Associates, now Trinsum. Before that, he worked as an architect, founding and managing his own architecture firm near Toulouse, France.

Stephane has degrees in architecture and art history from the University of Paris as well as an MBA from the Stern School of Business, New York University.
